Second-World-War

Second World War

The Second World War was a global military force fight that took place between 1939 and 1945. In this were involved a large part of the nations worldwide, all European nations and including great powers, these were grouped into two military alliances, the allies and the axis powers. It was the most violent war in history, with an estimated 100 million soldiers being mobilized in a state of total war, with the great powers allocating all their resources  to gain more strength, eliminating the difference between civilian and military resources. It is marking its mark by the great problems it caused, with a massive death of civilians, with an approximate result of 50 and 70 million victims, being 2.5% of the population worldwide because of the Second World War.

Start of the Second World War

This conflict occurred at the beginning of September 1, 1939, with an invasion of part of Germany towards Poland, this began when Hitler decided to initiate an incorporation of his expansionist claims: “The Polish corridor” which implied the invasion  of the western half of Poland, the eastern half, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania this was occupied by the Soviet Union,  Finland managed to maintain its independence from the Soviet Union. The United Kingdom and France declared war against Germany, expecting something similar as trench warfare, so they had taken all kinds of precautions, which proved useless.

These maneuvers provided Germany with full control of Norway, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and France itself within a few months. On the other hand, the British army escaped in extremis from the beaches of Dunkirk during the Battle of France. Most of the European continent was being used by the German army or its allies, the most prominent among its allies were Fascist Italy, whose military contribution was not very useful.

The battle that represented England, was the  first that was completely aerial in history, maintained during this period the pressure on the government of Winston Churchill, determined to resist, which could overcome, among other things, its technological innovation (radar) and the great support from the United States with which they negotiated in several interviews,  with Franklin D. Roosevelt.

In 1941, the strategy of occupying every oil field in the Caucasus provoked Germany to invade the Soviet Union, which was initially successful  but stalled in the Battle of Moscow and some places in Leningrad and Stalingrad. At the same time in Japan, its campaign of expansion through Asia and in revenge for the economic embargo that the government had imposed on them, the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 was the aggression that precipitated the entry of the United States to enter the war, this would mark a point in the Pacific War before  the vulnerability of Japan to the United States,  in North Africa the British stopped the advance  the German African Korps coming from Libya to Egypt at the Battle of El Alamein.

End of World War II

The end of the Second World War is characterized by the varied complex operations for the Allied landings that were in Europe and by the loss of the Eastern Front,  from which they were fought with the fiercest tank operations in history, while on the Western Front the Germans began to experiment with weapons very technological advanced for their time,  These endured destructive bombardments to the point of never having been seen before, concluding with a total destruction of their capital.

On the Pacific front, the United States evicted one by one the Japanese who were on islands, in the South Pacific to the Philippines, after leading the largest naval battles in history reached Japanese lands. In August 1945 the president of the United States ordered to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki with the most recent bombs invented, the result of this attack was a total of 250,000 deaths.

The German and Japanese surrender was produced by their defeat, there was no negotiation. The talks were those that raised the separation of Europe into zones of influence between those who were allies, and that were negotiated in successive summits.

Altered all the relationships that had been agreed

The Second World War altered all the relations that had been agreed until that moment damaging and delaying an advance, after the events the United Nations Organization was founded with the aim of avoiding more wars similar to these. The Soviet Union and the United States were only separated as rival superpowers, to then establish the Cold War that lasted the next 46 years, the other European powers  went into decline, most of the countries that their industries had been harmed helped with economic recovery with financial aid from the American country and political integration with effort to establish postwar relations.
